Ace of Diamonds #4 was scripted for a threat the series had been quietly building since issue #0: the Hand of Anubis, a mystical Egyptian death cult of assassins. The tease was planted. The trap was set. The issue never shipped.

That makes issue #4 one of the most intriguing artifacts of the original run — a story that exists in plans, notes and intentions. As archive material is recovered and restored, it will surface here first.
