Glenn Porzig is a writer, artist and media professional — and the creator of the Megababes universe.
In the late Nineties, Glenn created Ace of Diamonds, published by Lone Star Press. The character debuted in an 8-page backup story in Heroic Tales #3, returned in Heroic Tales #5, and earned her own title, which ran issues #0 through #3. Along the way the world grew: Bloodlust, the classified vampire hybrid agent; Silver Spyder, the armored inventor; the covert agency Shadow Sector; and a rogues gallery that was only beginning to show itself.
The plan was always bigger than one book. The heroines were meant to unite as the Megababes — the all-female team title the original run never reached. The comic ended, but the universe never stopped.
Now the Megababes universe is returning: the original comic art preserved as an archive, new artwork and teaser media created for a new era, and a world of characters ready for publishing, media and licensing partners who see what this universe can become.
